bUGbRAIN Releases New CD “Flashback Moon”
Every once in a while I get asked to review a new release
or website or what have you..
Of course the band or artists asking me to do this has no clue how I write or
what my talents are but hey.. I accept with a grin!
This timie its bUGbRAIN!
They sent me their CD “Flashback Moon”
Ill tell you what! BUY IT!
These guys have talent.. They need to be scouted out by
someone big enough to sign them and put them on a national tour and ‘get them noticed! We need to hear more from this band!
The vocals are clear and clean.. coordinate well with the instrumentals.
And the instrumentals.. Well if you like an alternative style rock that is easy to listen to you have it with bUGbRAIN..
The lyrics are easy to follow and I could go on and on.. but if you want a taste of it go to my page and give a listen.. I have a few of my favorites in my music box .. Just look for the songs with Bugbrain attached to the title. and no you cannot download them so dont try ! Go buy the Cd. the link to their site is also on my page!

“One More Day features all the big harmonies, great riffs, killer drums and the song structure you would expect from a band on the verge of something special. From the opening title track One More Day to the bonus track Coping, this disc delivers. The only drawback, is I want more Poynte!” Googlyi, Rock. Nothing But…
“Last night, your first note broke my jaw! It was left hanging there for the remainder of the show. All I could do was stand there with my mouth hanging open in awe. I have seen Metallica, AC/DC, Linkin Park, Slayer, and Pop Evil among others, but you guys really blew up the stage! UNBELIEVABLE!!!” -Kevin Ryan Wells FACEBOOK COMMENT

Wild Bills October
Vintage dresses, dress jackets, flannel, bell bottoms, button-down shirts and often boots and shoes are are all key components to a hipster look. Wear skinny pants. Wear ironic T-shirts. Hipsters love to showcase their irony.
Wear flamboyant belts, the bigger the better. The more colorful, the better. As long as the belt catches your eye, it’s hip. Rhinestones, spikes or anything gaudy or excessive that brings attention to the belt is a good thing.
Wear Converse sneakers or Doc Martens. Converse sneakers have long been a hipster staple.

“Good One Comin’ On” is good-ol-boy-in-party-mode Country Rock with the swing and swagger of Shooter Jennings (note to the Smoke: you had me at “two six packs of Shiner…” but the Ray Wylie Hubbard reference iced it), “Like I Am” chugs and thunders like the Outlaws at a Bad Company tribute and “Up in Smoke” imagines a double bill end-of-the-night jam with Blackfoot and ZZ Top. “Sanctified Woman” sounds like the band that Paul Stanley and Henry Paul would assemble and “Who Invented the Wheel” has the earmarks of Marshall Tucker’s best with a contemporary twist that brings it straight up to date. If you’ve been missing what us old hippies remember as Southern Rock, tip up the shine & take a good long hit of Blackberry Smoke, Ya’ll.
